“Let Me Be As
Christ To You”
We continue to focus on the message of respect; respect
of self, others, property.
Gandhi said
“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”
My message to our students has been that it
is not enough to just do no wrong, you must take action.
Take a stand.
Be the change!
I
see that
philosophy in so many of you and take inspiration from you.
Thank you for sharing your
many gifts.

Did
you know
that if you buy Vons scrip cards from SJA, we receive a 6% rebate from
Vons? And that if
you then use that Scrip to buy
your groceries while using your Vons card, we receive up to 4% more? All of this happens at no
additional cost to
you. $100 buys $100
in Scrip and can be
used for $100 in groceries.
AND… Did you know your nonfat, decaf,
vanilla latte from Starbuck’s now has something extra? A 7% rebate to
our
school if you pay with a scrip gift card!
Scrip gift cards are available from hundreds of vendors
that you use
every day at www.shopwithscrip.com; our enrollment code
is E3DLLD9311LLL. Orders
submitted
on-line by Tuesday, October 13 will be delivered to you at school on
Friday,
October 16. Prefer
a paper form? Drop
a note to SJAscrip@gmail.com and we’ll
make sure you get one.

do Catholics do that?” This

Catholics make three crosses before
the Gospel?

clothing
belongs to your family. Also
remember to
check periodically that the SJA clothing at your home has your child’s

it. Mix-ups happen
at recess and
